Our client is a very large Irish organisation employing more than 8,000 professionals both here in Ireland, the UK and Europe. They have a very impressive business portfolio that essentially straddles the FMCG and Retail industries. They have a complex business model and as such require a sophisticated IT infrastructure in which to effectively support it.

Role Profile:

The organisation are looking to recruit a 1^st Level Support ERP Applications support engineer for their ERP system. This is a permanent role where the successful candidate will work within a large ERP support team. You will be responsible for dealing with 1^st line support calls and queries pertaining to their ERP system. This role is core to the support of the organisation’s ERP and CRM systems and they support the organisation’s different departments form finance to supply chain. The potential for career progression is huge and the company is looking for someone long term. 

You will:

• Provide 1^st level ERP Applications support
• Assist in dealing with IT/ERP related queries and problems
• Desktop support
• Respond to client calls in a professional manner, providing solutions and advice where appropriate
• Ensuring Service Quality levels are maintained
• Ensuring all issues are handled in a timely manner
• Reviewing outstanding issues, ensuring clients are kept informed of progress
• Liaise with 3^rd part vendors

Key Skills:

• Previous ERP Applications support experience is essential!
• Minimum of 2 years ERP Support experience
• Any EDI OR Linux experience is highly desirable
• Experience in support the BCP system is highly desirable
