Role Profile:

Senior CCNP Network Engineer wanted with Cisco experience to work as a senior networking engineer in a solutions environment. Next Generation is inviting applications from experienced network engineers with a weight on Cisco. Ideally being a certified Unified CCNP Cisco Solutions Engineer will add to your application. As well as the technical piece, you will be involved in tenders and scoping client’s requirements as well as solutions design. Your role will be to provide high-end network support and implementation across a range of Unified Communications technologies using high end networking skills as well as Cisco kit specifically i.e.  VPN’s (CCNA minimum) Windows 2000/2003 server administration including Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.  Ability to configure VLANs and ACL’s in Cisco IOS as well as strong skills in the area of VOIP and IP Networking and have an interest in dealing with cutting edge technologies in this area. You must be CCNP Certified with excellent hands on networking, products and protocol experience while having an expert understanding of security and/or VPN technologies and products.

Responsibilities:

• Audit , develop and implement IP security policies
• Perform ongoing security reviews
• Complete detailed security assessments to ensure compliance standards are meet
• Develop detailed documentation of IP security policies
• Liaise with key stakeholders on technical concepts using appropriate non-technical language
• Ongoing consultative advice on technical IP security policy, solutions and issues
• Escalation point for technical issues relating to IP security
