Applications are required for an IT Support Services Manager; this is a hands on role with technical work required. We require someone with excellent people management skills, someone who is delivery and deadline focused who sole goal is to deliver.

This role involves looking after all IT Helpdesk / desktop support as well as application support as well IT operations and operational tasks and separate project work whilst managing a small specialist team.

A key project will involve stability with servers. This role will manage a small headcount, who in turn look after multiple terminals over different sites in a support capacity. The end users are in the hundreds.

People skills are very important as it’s your responsibility to do all of the career management, performance management as well as succession planning whislt creating a culture of excellence and expertise for your team.  These systems will be new to you as they are bespoke ERP systems the company has configured over the years. You will need to want to become an operational expert on this system. Experience in Unix is desirable.
