An exciting and rare opportunity has just come live for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join a leading, well established FMCG company based in Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation with a superb sales force behind them. They are well established within their market and are looking to expand their sales division. Within the role, there will be a lot of people management and you will have a minimum of 3 National Account Managers reporting directly to you. This is a more senior role than a National Account Manager and there will be a huge focus on management of the Account Managers.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Manage and direct the National Account Managers
• Motivate your team to achieve both overall volume and individual target product targets
• To grow the product distribution in Ireland
• To use initiative in developing the market for the range
• To develop marketing plans where needed
• To monitor competitors to ensure accurate market knowledge
• Monthly management reports
• To meet targets as defined by the Sales Director

To be successful in this role you must possess the following:

• A proven track record in FMCG sales – minimum 5 years +
• Previous experience managing Account Managers
• Excellent leadership, planning and organisational skills
• Previous people management experience is essential
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – at senior level
