Our client is a well established market leader within the media / digital online space. They have a global brand – providing both products and services to a wide range of corporate companies nationally. They are an extremely focused environment and are looking for determined and career orientated candidate to join the team. There are a number of responsibilities within the role – however the focus must be split 50/50 on both the sales side to the company and also the marketing element of the company.
Sales responsibilities include: The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for the sales budget – creating various strategic business plans / reports to ensure all budgets are agreed and maintained. Also, there will be a huge emphasis on corporate selling – the candidate will be responsible for securing large contracts and business development with the corporate market. A background in dealing with large contracts (minimum sales value of €1 million) is essential for this role.
Marketing responsibilities include: The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the entire marketing function of the business. Responsibility will be held on the marketing budget – again ensuring all funds and plans are agreed and maintained. Marketing will be a huge element of this role – the canidate will design and deliver a marketing strategy – ensuring a smooth delivery of the various concepts, adhere to brand guidelines and product descriptions.
Within the role, the candidate will drive a push strategy and generate revenue within the corporate market. The National Sales Manager and Marketing Executive will report directly into the successful candidate and the successful candidate will also work alongside various different departments within the company. Requirements for the role:
- Minimum 15 years experience in business services / brands / FMCG
- A proven track record in achieving sales and marketing strategies is essential
- A digital marketing / 3rd level qualification would be an advantage
- Previous account management / business development experience is a must
- Candidates coming from a franchise environment would be a huge advantage
- Brand management experience is also essential for this role
- Superb communication and presentation skills
- Proficient IT and reporting skills
