Who we are:
Next Generation Recruitment is an Irish Recruitment Company founded in 2007. We provide recruitment services tailored to our client's talent attraction strategy and our candidate's career expectations and goals.
What the job is:
Maureen, our amazing Finance person, has been single-handedly manning the Finance ship at Next Generation for the past 10 years, but she's soon to be going on maternity leave, so we need someone to come and keep our Finance ship sailing during that time.
We provide recruitment as a service, so there's a good bit of accounts receivable in the job; you're not afraid to pick up the phone and ask for that 20K€ invoice you got a PO for a few weeks ago.
Obviously, you will take care of flip side which is Accounts Payable and Payroll (Jennifer from HR will help you with that).
We'll be counting on you to provide us with reports on sales, revenue, profit and loss, revenue analysis and all these sorts of things. You'll be working closely with our MD and our external accountant.
You will also take care of the contracts for external contractors.
This is a great job if you want a generalist finance role where you get exposure to all aspects of the business.
What you need to be successful in this job:
You're either IATI qualified or part-qualified ACCA and you've worked in a Finance role that had multiple facets before (Maureen will do a thorough hangover with you, but after that, there will be no calling her on the phone if there's something you don't know how to do).
You are a strong communicator; you will be working very closely with our MD within a sales environment, and you will also liaise very regularly with our external accountant.
You're a Microsoft Excel wizard. In this job, you will live and breathe through Excel, so you need to be comfortable at an advanced level.
You have great customer service skills. You'll be dealing with internal and external customers.
And last but not least, you need to be available to start mid-end May 2021
