Next Generation Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist for a multi-national engineering organisation with several global operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operational buying activities and driving supplier performance for the respective supplier base with a focus on parts availability and working capital

This is a permanent (full-time) job-based in the Dublin area.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business relationships with contract manufacturers and internal manufacturing sites to ensure the consistent supply of products to the market
• Interface with internal and third-party distributors as well as internal/external Suppliers to resolve day-to-day supply chain and logistics issues
• Proactively engage with suppliers to deliver improvement initiatives focused on availability and inventory reductions.
• Track, monitor, and drive continuous improvement to ensure agreed performance targets are met including on-time delivery and lead-time accuracy.
• Support supply chain improvement projects and work closely with other departments as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years in a similar end to end Supply Chain/Logistics role within a high volume/fast-paced environment
• Experienced leading CI and Lean projects is a distinct advantage
• Experience dealing with contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs), Suppliers and Third-Party Distributors
• Strong experience in supplier management and/or inventory planning
• Strong ERP, excel and data analysis skills.
• Proven ability to make key decisions and communicate effectively with relevant internal stakeholders and externally with contract manufacturers
