Compliance Co-Ordinator
 

Next Generation is looking for a Compliance Coordinator on behalf of a leading food manufacturer based in Co. Longford. If you are an ambitious individual with 2-3 years of experience in a Quality or Technical role in food manufacturing looking to join dynamic company and great team of 5 today is your lucky day!
 
This is a permanent (full-time) job based in Co. Longford.
 
You will be reporting into the Quality Manager and you will share the responsibility for full site Food Safety & Quality programme. You will compile reports, improve the QMS/FS program and drive the food safety culture in the business.
 
 
What will you do in this job?
 
  • You will develop, implement, and maintain the food safety management system especially the Site's HACCP systems under guidance from the Quality Manager.
 
  • You will review of all customer COPs to ensure compliance and responds to any customer alerts.
 
  • You will manage compliance and updates to the BRC/IFS standards.
 
 
  • You will lead/participate in customer audits and factory visits.
 
  • You will ensure all non-conformances (internal/external) are robustly closed in accordance with the agreed timelines.
 
 
  • You will cover the Assistant Quality Manager and work with production on any quality issues as and when required.
 
  • You will input the site quality KPIs weekly and track quality performance on the site.
 
 
  • You will drive quality improvement projects and identify areas of opportunity for business improvement.
 
 
What do you need to be successful in this job?
 
  • You hold a 3rd level qualification in Food Science or related discipline.
 
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a quality/technical role in food manufacturing.
 
  • You have previous experience with BRC and customer audits.
