An established media organisation has gone through considerable change and expansion in recent times and is undergoing considerable transformation across multiple group functions including the group procurement function and as result are looking to recruit a procurement manager to join their group procurement function . This organisation is a multi-channel media and communications and is undergoing considerable change in their product portfolio .
- This role will report into the Procurement Director and will be primarily focused on managing all indirect procurement needs across the organisation’s group functions.
- The company is undergoing considerable change within their technology department a large part of this role will require the individual to work with key stakeholders do determine their needs and source IT services and hardware as required.
- Another focus of this role will be supplier and contract management across all functions in the business .This individual will be required to develop strategic relationship with key group vendors for the organisation’s current and future benefit.
- As this role will require to manage all indirect procurement across functions within the organisation a key part of this role will be cost management and supplier negotiation across all indirect goods and services.
Ideally degree qualified with 5-7 years indirect procurement ideally within a service driven or FMCG organisation.
Strong technology or professional services procurement experience a distinct advantage.
Excellent project management and supplier management is required.
