Customer Service Supply Chain Specialist

Our client, a global organisation operating within a highly regulated environment, is seeking to appoint a Customer Service Supply Chain Specialist to support operations on a key customer site in Dublin.

This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role combining customer service excellence with supply chain coordination. Experience within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment would be a distinct advantage.

The Role

You will support day-to-day customer service and supply chain activities, ensuring accurate order management, strong stakeholder communication, and seamless coordination across operations.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the end-to-end sales order process including order entry, acknowledgements, invoicing and credits
* Responding to customer and internal queries in a timely and professional manner
* Supporting the commercial team with customer enquiries and order-related requests
* Building strong product and process knowledge to effectively resolve customer issues
* Participating in customer business reviews and regular service meetings
* Liaising with distribution and manufacturing teams to ensure schedule adherence and delivery accuracy
* Working with finance and shared services to maintain accurate customer and material master data
* Maintaining accurate customer forecasts to support planning activities
* Preparing weekly and monthly performance metrics for site management
* Ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory and EHS standards at all times
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across customer service and supply chain operations

The Person

* Experience within customer service or supply chain in a regulated or fast-paced environment
* Previous experience within pharmaceutical or supply chain operations is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, including working with freight forwarders
* Experience with forecasting and supply/demand planning principles
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
* Strong organisational and planning skills with a high level of attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic team environment
* Experience handling challenging customer interactions professionally
* Process-driven with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
* Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform in an ambiguous environment
