A an established FMCG manufactured has recently acquired a manufacturing facility in Ireland and are in the process of transforming all their end to end supply chain processes within the high volume manufacturing facility . This organisation has a wide range of household brands and through their latest acquisition they have increased this product portfolio considerably. As a result of this expansion they are looking to recruit an experience demand planner to work closely their commercial and operational teams to improve planning and supply chain processes.
- Reporting into a Demand Planning Manager this role will be focused on re-engineering S&OP planning processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- This role will require the individual to work closely with group commercial teams to improve forecast accuracy for both local and European markets to ensure that all customer demand is met .
- Another part of this role will require the individual to work closely with production to ensure S&OP planning processes are implemented correctly and that there is no disruption to market supply and that inventory is maintained at an optimum level and that waste is kept at a minimum.
- This role will also require the individual to have strong system experience and ideally have an advanced level of exel .
Ideally degree qualified with 3-5 years demand planning experience ideally within a high volume manufacturing environment.
An advanced level exel is required .
FMCG and SAP experience a distinct advantage.
