An established global pharmaceutical manufacturing are undergoing considerable expansion in  their local and global manufacturing operations through increased product development and expansion in their contract manufacturing operations both locally and globally . As a result there is an increase in the demand for site support functions and they are looking to hire a driven and astute professional to lead  site EHS and security functions in their  Irish manufacturing function.

• This role will report into a global EHS senior director as well as reporting into the site lead of the expanding manufacturing facility and will be responsible for leading a best in class environmental health & safety and security function.
• This role will be challenged with developing the collaborative approach of the EHS & security functions to even higher standards with innovative and commercially astute ideas on how to improve compliance across the environmental health & safety functions on site.
• This position will be required to ensure best in class environmental health & safety practices are maintained throughout the site by partnering with manufacturing , engineering , quality , R&D and supply chain functions to ensure accidents are avoided and that the highest level of compliance is adhered throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Another requirement of this role will be to lead and develop a highly talented team across the environmental health safety and security functions to ensure that high standards are maintained and that talent is grown with the business.

Experience Required

Ideally Masters qualified, degree  is essential with 8-10 years management experience across EHS functions within a GMP manufacturing environment .

Pharma or biopharma sector experience a distinct advantage .

Strong leadership and team development is essential.
