An innovative and patient centric biopharmaceutical start-up are in the process of establishing a EMEA Supply Chain Function as the organization gets ready for commercial launch. This company has an impressive pipe-line of products in development for a wide range of rare diseases and is in the process of developing more. The EMEA Head of Supply Chain is in the process of establishing the function across the region and is looking to hire a team to do so. As a result, they are looking to hire a EMEA Supply Chain Lead to establish their distribution function.
  • This role will report into the EMEA Head of Supply Chain and will be focused on developing and implementing the organisation's distribution function in EMEA working with the third-party distribution partner to do so.
  • A large part of managing the function in the EMEA supply chain will be developing and managing a relationship with third party logistics providers.
  • This position will require the individual to develop and implement supply chain processes across all elements of customer distribution and ensure that the supply chain processes have the agility to match the growth within EMEA as the organisation gets ready for commercial launch in region.
  • Another focus of this role is ensuring all aspects of customer delivery are best practice and full GDP compliance is maintained throughout the supply chain.
  • This role will require the individual to have extensive third part logistics and product launch experience of biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical products.
Experience Required
  • Degree qualification with 7-10 years supply chain experience within the life science sector.
  • GDP and third-party logistics experience are essential requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes.
