HR Manager – Co. Monaghan
 
 
My client, a leading Irish-owned food manufacturing business based in Co. Monaghan is currently looking for a HR Manager to join their team.
 
This is a (full-time) permanent role based in Co. Monaghan.
 
In this role, you will be designing and implementing HR Department policies, procedures and programmes to enable the business to consistently achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
 
Additionally, you will be responsible for creating a positive company culture that delivers a progressive experience for employees aligned with company values and add value in support of the overall continuous improvement agenda.
 
 
What will you do in this job?
 
  • You will implement talent management programmes that attract, develop, and retain talent and drive a high performing organisation.
 
  • You will deliver an efficient and consistent experience for employees at each stage of the employee lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding to retirement.
 
  • You will manage Employee Relations in line with company, policies, values, and principles.
 
  • You will develop and deliver HRD initiatives, solutions and projects that advance the strategic goals of the business and address business problems.
 
  • You will advise the Leadership team re. pay & benefits, to maintain competitiveness while attracting and retaining talent.
 
  • You will support the Training Co-Ordinator to ensure all mandatory training is delivered and recorded in a timely manner.
 
  • You will develop Corporate Social Responsibility and Employee Wellbeing programmes that win the support of employees and the local community.
 
  • You will ensure compliance with GDPR, responsibility of overseeing any requests.
 
  • You will use business systems to ensure accurate and current employee data and generate management reports on HR KPIs.
 
 
What do you need to be successful in this job?
 
  • You hold a 3rd level qualification in a HR related discipline, preferably CIPD certified.
 
  • You have 3+ years of experience in a HR Manager or HR Generalist role in a medium enterprise, ideally in the FMCG industry.
