Manufacturing Projects Scientist Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12-month contract

Rate: €35 Hourly



Step into a pivotal role at the forefront of biologics manufacturing, where your expertise will directly shape the successful launch of next-generation products in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams in delivering new product introductions and process improvements
  • Contribute to risk assessments and ensure manufacturing readiness for new products
  • Support product changeovers and technology transfer activities
  • Prepare and review manufacturing documentation for engineering and PPQ batches
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives
  • Assess impact of new products on existing manufacturing processes
  • Author process impact assessments and support technical investigations
  • Provide SME input for process optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Deliver training on new processes and procedures to manufacturing teams
  • Support GMP compliance through audits, documentation review, and batch disposition
  • Manage change controls, CAPAs, and deviations
  • Collaborate on introduction of raw materials and consumables
  • Promote Right-First-Time and operational excellence principles
  • Support sustaining operations to ensure continuous product supply
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across key departments



Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

  • Degree (BSc/MSc) in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Proven experience in GMP biologics manufacturing or a similar regulated environment

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process automation, and equipment used in biologics production

  • Experience supporting technical investigations, deviations, and CAPAs

  • Knowledge of systems such as DeltaV, MES (Syncade), and SAP

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Experience with lean manufacturing / operational excellence principles is advantageous
