An established global FMCG have recently gone through considerable expansion in their global manufacturing operations and supply chain. Their global product portfolio has grown considerably as a result with expansion in both current and new markets. As a result the level of the exports has risen significantly in recent times and is targeted to grow even more. As a result of this expansion they are actively looking at improving supply chain planning processes within their manufacturing operations. As a result they are looking to hire an experienced materials planner
- This role will report into Supply Chain Manager and be primarily focused on material planning for both direct material and finished product for the organisations high volume packaging plant.
- A large focus of this role will be the improve the material flow of direct material to the packaging lines to insure inventory is kept at an optimum level and cost savings are delivered .
- Another focus of this role will be to lead or play an integral part in any continuous improvement projects within organisation’s planning and supply chain processes in the packaging site to ensure that cost is taken out of the supply chain.
- This position will require the individual to manage all inventory levels of direct packaging material and finished product to ensure that they are kept an optimum level and that there is no disruption to supply .
Ideally degree qualification with 3-5 years material or supply planning within high volume manufacturing environment
