What you'll do

• Take the lead on managing and planning projects
• Work on system design and review the work of your colleagues
• Prepare design documents, contracts, and specifications
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members
• Ensure every design meets top-quality standards
• Handle cost control and estimating
• Produce reports and conceptual design studies
• Support and mentor junior engineers as they grow

What you'll bring

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years+ of solid project experience across different sectors
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industry standards
• Confidence in leading design teams
• Great communication and report-writing skills
• A team-focused approach and a can-do attitude
• Organisational skills to keep projects on track and within budget
• Comfort using design software
• Motivation to keep learning and progressing
