MES Engineer
Dublin, Onsite | 12-Month Contract | €70.00/hour
The opportunity
This is a chance to take ownership of MES recipe design and system administration on a site where product quality and lean manufacturing aren't buzzwords - they're the goals every recipe you build has to meet. You'll be working across SAP, LIMS and DeltaV, shaping how the facility runs, not just maintaining it.
If you've got five-plus years in MES and you're ready to bring that experience somewhere your input will actually shape how the system works, this is worth a conversation.
What you'll be doing
- Authoring MES recipes that meet corporate design standards and hold up under real production demands
- Leading testing and computer system validation on MES recipes and configuration
- Administering MES system interfaces with SAP, LIMS and DeltaV
- Building out MES Syncade - equipment, material management, reporting and inventory
- Contributing to design documents and validation deliverables that shape the system's direction
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years' experience as an MES Engineer
- A degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences
- MES system design, configuration and process experience in biotech or pharma
- Strong communication skills - you'll be collaborating across technical and business teams
- A problem-solver's instinct, with the organisation to manage shifting priorities
- Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement
