Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling - Translate weekly production plans into daily activities, coordinating staffing across production and packaging areas to meet operational requirements
- Operational Efficiency - Monitor and optimise equipment performance to maximise output, reduce downtime, and consistently meet production targets
- Safety & Quality Compliance - Ensure adherence to health & safety standards and maintain product quality in line with company and regulatory requirements
- Team Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop production teams, managing performance and fostering clear communication across all shifts
- Continuous Improvement - Identify process improvement opportunities, escalate maintenance issues, and drive initiatives to enhance operational performance
Key Requirements
- Experience within a food manufacturing or similar production environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong "can-do" mindset
