Position: QC Analyst - Microbiology

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Onsite 12/7 shift )

Contract Duration: 12-month contract

Rate: €21.13 Hourly

Looking to grow your microbiology career within one of Ireland's most advanced biologics manufacturing environments? This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to sterile operations, Environmental Monitoring, utility systems, and aseptic processing support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Environmental Monitoring activities across cleanrooms, BSCs, and isolators
  • Carry out utility sampling of water systems and Compressed Air/Gas
  • Support Biological Indicator issuance, testing, and reconciliation activities
  • Participate in Media Fill (APS) activities, including inspection and reconciliation
  • Perform in-process testing using HPLC and UV Spectrophotometry
  • Process and test microbiological samples in line with GMP requirements
  • Support microbial identification activities
  • Complete laboratory documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support investigations relating to alert/action limit excursions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support manufacturing and qualification schedules
  • Maintain high standards of GMP compliance, housekeeping, safety, and lean lab practices

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or GMP laboratory environment
  • Experience working within cleanroom or aseptic manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to Environmental Monitoring and utility sampling activities
  • Knowledge of GMP documentation and laboratory compliance practices
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Experience

  • Utility sampling of Compressed Air/Gas systems
  • Isolator monitoring experience
  • Biological Indicator testing
  • Media Fill / APS participation
  • HPLC and UV Spectrophotometry experience
  • Experience with systems such as MODA, Empower, LIMS, LES, CIMS, or Veeva Vault
