Our client, a global manufacturer, is establishing a new site in Dublin to support its UK and European operations. As part of this expansion, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to play a key role in setting up and embedding procurement processes across the site.

This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage of site development, offering strong career progression as the organisation continues to grow through acquisition.

The Role

Reporting to a UK-based Senior Procurement Manager, you will support the implementation of the overall procurement strategy while managing day-to-day purchasing activities across both direct and indirect spend.

You will take ownership of supplier sourcing and management, ensuring materials and services are delivered at the right cost, quality, and timelines, while contributing to the development of robust procurement practices within a new operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of procurement strategy across the Irish site
  • Manage purchasing activities across direct and indirect categories
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to support operational requirements
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, supporting negotiations and performance management
  • Work closely with internal teams including operations, sales, and finance
  • Ensure procurement processes align with compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency standards
  • Contribute to inventory planning, forecasting, and project delivery support
  • Maintain accurate procurement data and reporting to support decision-making

About You

  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement experience
  • Strong supplier sourcing and management experience within a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Experience managing both direct and indirect spend
  • Commercially aware with solid negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Previous site start-up or scale-up experience is highly advantageous

Why Apply

This role offers the opportunity to shape procurement processes within a new site, working closely with senior leadership and gaining exposure to international operations. It is well suited to someone looking to take the next step in their career within a growing global organisation.
