This year we have teamed up with CeADAR, the Centre for Applied Data Analytics, to celebrate the world of Data and the fast growing industry of Data Science with the inaugural DatSci Awards.
The DatSci Awards are a celebration of this growing market, and an afternoon to honour notable industry individuals, companies and up and coming Data Science students.
The inaugural DatSci Awards 2016 are taking place on Thursday September 22nd in the Aviva Stadium.
The closing date for noinations is June 30th 2016!! With only a week to go, make sure to cast your nominations in our vast array of categories including Company of the Year – Start Up, Indigenous Irish and Multinational, Best Team – Academic Research, Data Scientist of the Year and Student of the Year.

The world of Data Science molds the way we work in the office, our home life and even in our choices of entertainment activities. Every day we are creating more Data than what was created between the beginning of time and 2003. It is the Data Scientists that use this data, to create new innovations and change the way we live. It is time tohonour these individuals and industry experts.
Ireland is fast becoming a hub for the Data Science industry, and the goal of these awards is to raise awareness about the many great Irish data success stories and to celebrate these achievements.
Linda Davis, our CEO and DatSci Judge, explains why data science is so important.

The shortlist of nominations will be announced at the end of August and the winners will be announced at our awards event at the Aviva, Dublin on the 22nd September 2016.
