This expansion is a direct result of the continued growth of the external manufacturing operations. As a result the organisation is about to undergo considerable transformation within their global supply chain processes and systems. They are looking to recruit an experience supply chain professional with a proven track record of global supply chain transformation and implementation to join a newly formed team within the global supply chain. Reporting into a senior director this role will be focused on developing best practice across all global supply chain processes and systems and be part of new team set up to implement governance and best practice across all global supply chain processes and system. One of the main focus of this newly created position will be optimise SAP through all global supply chain processes with a particular focus on master data utilisation. There will also be a strong focus of integrating two global supply chain into one and ensuring that the new global supply chain is fit for purpose and agile enough to assist the global expansion with the organisation’s virtual supply chain. Another focus of this role will be analyse global supply chain processes end to end on a consistent basis to ensure that the global supply chain is cost effective without compromising quality of product supply. As a result of this expansion they are recruiting for a new role within their global logistics team This senior global logistics manager will report into an Associated Director in global logistics and will primarily focused on managing all global freight requirements with the organisation’s outsourced partners. This positon will also require the individual to work with the Associate Director Global logistics on all continuous improvement projects within global logistics to ensure all direct material is delivered to the global manufacturing platform in the most cost effectively and timely manner without comprising quality.
