Exciting opportunity with a leading global pharmaceutical expanding its external manufacturing network! My client seeking an accomplished professional to join us as Associate Director in Supply Chain Resilience . This role will be focused on capacity planning and risk mitigation as the organisation continues to expnad their global porfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial Supply Chain, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Quality, Technical Operations, EHSS) to craft value-driven risk management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Implement processes to mitigate supply chain risk, specifically addressing Supplier information security breaches in collaboration with IT colleagues.
  • Develop and execute assessments for supplier business continuity planning and financial health, driving continuous improvement strategies.
  • Drive ongoing enhancement of the Risk Management process to align with best practices, guided by the leadership team.
  • Lead the integration of risk management with key supply chain processes.
  • Appraise the External Operations Leadership team on high-risk areas, presenting effective mitigation strategies.

Experience Required:

  • Degree qualified with 10-15 years of supply chain or operations excellence within the life science sector.
  • Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
  • Strong background in assessing and enhancing supplier information security, business continuity planning, and financial health.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
