Licence: Full, clean Irish driving licence required

Overview:
We are working with a leading construction company based in West Dublin to recruit a Buyer to join their team. This is a permanent role offering strong progression potential within a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of materials, plant and equipment for ongoing projects

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value and timely delivery

• Monitor stock levels and ensure site teams have what they need

• Maintain strong supplier relationships and keep accurate records

• Liaise with project managers, site teams and internal departments

• Conduct regular site visits (travel required)

Requirements:

• 2-3 years' experience in a purchasing or buying role

• Strong interest in construction, engineering or similar technical fields

• Full, clean Irish driving licence

• Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience in construction or a related industry

• Familiarity with procurement software or systems
