Job Title: Contract Manufacturing Manager

Location: Ireland (Remote)

Contract Type: Permanent

Company Details: Our client are a leading company in the Dairy sector, dedicated to providing high-quality products to their customers globally. As part of their commitment to excellence, they are now seeking a skilled Contract Manufacturing Manager to join the team and oversee the contract manufacturing operations.

Role Overview: As the Contract Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and liaising with the contract manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and effective manufacture of their products, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to oversee all aspects of manufacturing and new product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of contract manufacturing
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including BRC and retail manufacturing standards for the infant formula sector
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to develop packaging designs that meet product requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including specifications, SOPs, and quality control procedures
  • Coordinate artwork creation and approval processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing equipment and technology, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Manage budgetary and resource allocation for the contract manufacturing operation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to packaging team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement


  • Extensive experience with contract manufacturers, preferably in the dairy sector
  • Strong knowledge of BRC and retail manufacturing standards
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the dairy industry, ideally with some R&D experience
  • Proven track record of managing contract manufacturing operations, including budgetary and resource management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to continuous improvement
