Electrical Maintenance Technician

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work Safely: Identify risks and implement mitigation actions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Rapid Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to equipment failures or issues in a cross-functional setting.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Record interventions, including failure codes, and recommend preventative solutions.
- Planned Maintenance: Execute predictive, preventative, and calibration routines efficiently.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Complete all Work Orders on time while capturing asset management data accurately.
- Clear Communication: Provide concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to optimize job plans, spare parts usage, and maintenance processes.
- Equipment Overhauls: Support major equipment overhauls and manage vendors on site.
- Training & Development: Assist in developing training materials and cross-train colleagues.
- Operational Support: Aid colleagues and other functions with set-up, sampling, and cleaning validation activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in teams using Operational Excellence techniques to optimize processes.
- Audit Readiness: Maintain audit-ready standards, uphold housekeeping excellence, and ensure timely completion of training.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
- Minimum FETAC Level 6 Electrical qualification or equivalent, with strong mechanical aptitude.
- 2-4 years' experience in a maintenance or relevant engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a regulated biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, facilities maintenance, or FMCG facility is required.
- Prioritizes safety, quality, and reliability in every task.
- High attention to detail when following procedures; flexible and open to change.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adhere to scheduled timelines.
