This is a contract of 18 months (full-time) job based in Dublin. The company offers an excellent hybrid working policy (50% flexible office/home working) and excellent opportunities for career progression within the global organisation.
What will you do in this job?
Develop and implement a procurement strategy for spend category ensuring alliance with the overall Global procurement strategy for the business
Maintain a supply risk profile by supplier to include a continuous improvement program to mitigate the identified risks
Responsible for developing a robust SRM programme by which supplier relationships can be developed and improved upon
Work closely with global Procurement, Commercial and Technical/Quality teams to ensure alignment
What do you need to be successful in this job?
4+ years' experience in a similar position with a focus on packaging
Degree qualified in a relevant scientific/business related discipline
Prior people management experience is a necessity
Experience with Pharma/Biopharma contract/supply agreement negotiations
Excellent knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP systems
Ability to work cross functionally with other departments
Strong commercial awareness
