Global Supply Chain Specialist
Global Distribution (12-month Fixed Term Contract)
Our client is a global pharmaceutical organisation seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support its international distribution operations on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This role sits within a regulated, fast-paced environment and will suit someone with strong third-party logistics (3PL) management experience and hands-on supply chain operations exposure across global markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing sales order processing, customer queries and commercial support activities
- Coordinating closely with 3PL partners, distribution and manufacturing teams to ensure schedule adherence
- Maintaining accurate forecasts and supporting end-to-end planning activities
- Ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory and EHS requirements
- Preparing operational metrics and supporting regular business reviews
- Working cross-functionally across commercial, finance and shared services teams
Key requirements:
- 5-7 years' experience in supply chain or logistics operations
- Strong third-party logistics and global distribution experience
- Background in pharmaceutical or FMCG environments
- Solid understanding of global logistics execution and freight forwarder management
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
