The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Global Technical Transfer Project Manager to lead and deliver complex drug substance, drug product, and packaging technology transfers across a global biopharmaceutical network.
This role will suit a seasoned technical operations project manager with a strong track record in managing cross-functional, high-impact tech transfer programmes involving CMOs and internal manufacturing sites. You'll play a pivotal role in executing Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and lifecycle management strategies, ensuring products are successfully transferred, validated, and approved on time.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full project management oversight for complex global tech transfer projects across drug substance, drug product, and packaging.
Manage project charters, detailed timelines, budgets, and risk registers to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery.
Lead scenario planning and execution within MS&T for packaging, device, and DP-related activities.
Act as a key liaison between internal Technical Product Teams (TPTs), CMOs, and cross-functional stakeholders (regulatory, quality, analytical, and supply chain).
Facilitate effective collaboration and accountability across matrixed global teams.
Drive governance alignment, communicate project status and escalate risks as required.
Ensure project documentation and progress tracking align with established PMO standards and tools (MS Project, Tableau, PPM systems).
About You
Degree-qualified in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 4 years' project management experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
Proven expertise in technical transfer, process improvement, and CMC project execution.
Experience working with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and managing external partnerships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Tableau, SharePoint, or equivalent project tools.
PMP certification desirable.
