Job Title: Health & Safety Coordinator
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Job Type: Full-Time
The Health & Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and maintaining a safe work environment. They will work closely with the Health & Safety team to implement, monitor, and improve safety procedures and programs.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote safety awareness and compliance.
- Investigate and report accidents and incidents, and implement preventive measures to reduce the risk of reoccurrence.
- Keep abreast of industry safety regulations and best practices, ensuring the company's compliance.
- Train employees on safety protocols and provide ongoing safety education.
- Manage and maintain safety records and documentation.
- Participate in emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture within the organization.
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Relevant certifications within health & safety.
- 1-3 years of experience in health and safety coordination or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
