Logistics Coordinator - Food Manufacturing

We are working with a leading food production business who are seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to support their growing supply chain function. This is a junior position suited to someone with a strong interest in logistics, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will coordinate the day-to-day logistics activities for both inbound and outbound goods, working closely with production, warehousing, and transport providers to ensure smooth delivery of products across Ireland and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor domestic and international shipments with third-party hauliers and freight forwarders
• Prepare and process shipping documentation (dispatch notes, export paperwork, invoices, etc.)
• Track deliveries, resolve delays, and update internal teams with status reports
• Liaise daily with production and warehouse teams to plan dispatch timings and stock movement
• Maintain accurate logistics records and data in internal systems
• Support continuous improvement projects within the supply chain function

Ideal Candidate

• 6-24 months' experience in a logistics, transport, or supply chain admin role
• Strong organisational and communication skills, comfortable coordinating multiple moving parts
• Proficient with Excel and administration systems
• Confident, personable, and eager to learn in a team-orientated environment
