Maintenance Coordinator

I am currently partnering with a well established food manufacturer who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join their engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, leading a busy maintenance function and driving continuous improvements across a fast moving production site.
What you will be doing
- Leading a team of fitters and electricians in a busy engineering department
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues across the manufacturing plant
- Managing downtime, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing preventative strategies
- Overseeing the parts system for both new and existing production lines
- Managing PO processes within the maintenance department
- Supporting and project managing capital and continuous improvement projects
- Preparing monthly reports and providing updates to senior operations leaders
- Planning and issuing all preventive maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance
- Working closely with engineering and operations teams to identify and resolve site issues
- Supporting and promoting a strong food safety culture
What you need
* Minimum 5 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
* Qualified electrician or mechanical fitter
* Strong project management experience
* PLC knowledge is an advantage
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills
* Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
* A positive, proactive approach with strong teamwork skills
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
