Job Title: Procurement Risk Analyst (8-Month Contract)

Overview: Join our client's dynamic team as a Procurement Risk Analyst in a fast-paced financial services company. This role is critical in supporting the procurement function by efficiently retrieving and processing substantial volumes of data from various suppliers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining the procurement processes and contributing to the achievement of the company's organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive gaps analysis and risk assessments of third-party supplier risk and compliance data, contracts against regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain processes, methodologies, and tools in adherence to EU and UK financial services regulations and best practice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to procurement, legal, compliance, and IT, to assess and collate information regarding third-party suppliers.
  • Design and develop Excel and Access-based database, dashboards, to streamline data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes within the procurement function
  • Identify trends and insights from data analysis to drive informed decision-making
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of procurement systems and tool
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in data analysis and procurement within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and other databases
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
