Join our client's dynamic team at a thriving SME in Kilkenny, experiencing an exciting phase of growth! I am seeking a talented Production Manager with significant experience in the food sector to lead the production team and implement robust structures for optimal efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure timely and high-quality output.
• Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance
• Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and meet business objectives
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted production flow

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the food sector, with a deep understanding of production processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and inspire teams.
• Demonstrated success in implementing structured systems and processes to drive efficiency and quality.
• Familiarity with BRC and Retail Quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the organization
