In this role, you'll work hands-on with cell cultures, bioassays, and analytical techniques to ensure the highest standards of quality, directly supporting the therapies of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities - QC Analyst (Pharma)

  • Execute and assist in batch release testing, technical transfers, and co-validation activities in compliance with GMP.

  • Accurately document laboratory work, ensuring completeness, clarity, and adherence to SOPs.

  • Review and analyze assay data, demonstrating proficiency in laboratory techniques and methods.

  • Perform routine data analysis, assist in investigations of Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, conduct trending analysis, and contribute to investigation reports.

  • Support the preparation, updating, and issuance of laboratory documentation, including SOPs, as required.

  • Assist in the qualification, calibration, and performance verification of laboratory instruments.

  • Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and participate in maintenance activities as needed.

  • Apply aseptic techniques, maintain and handle cell cultures, and work within a GMP laboratory environment.

  • Comply with laboratory safety, biowaste handling, and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a BSc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related life sciences discipline.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in analytical techniques such as aseptic techniques, cell culture, cell-based bioassays, and ELISA is preferred. Internship experience is acceptable for recent graduates.

  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to independently execute assays, accurately document results, and recognize anomalous trends or deviations.

  • Problem-Solving & Prioritization: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize objectives, and meet scheduled timelines.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.

  • Additional Competencies: Familiarity with GMP laboratory practices, handling biowaste safely, and working with laboratory instruments is advantageous.
