Senior Construction Project Manager (Contract)
Location: Dublin, Ireland ( Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 months
About the Role:
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex construction projects across Manufacturing, Labs, and Utilities in a highly regulated biopharmaceutical environment. You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance, while engaging with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead high-impact construction delivery across major capital and expense projects in a regulated, world-class environment
- Take full ownership of site execution, construction strategy, sequencing, and contractor mobilisation
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with Irish legislation, corporate standards, and Good Engineering Practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, EHS, QA, Facilities, Engineering) to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Drive constructability reviews, value engineering, and schedule optimisation to maximise project outcomes
- Manage contractors and consultants, leading site coordination meetings and setting clear delivery priorities
- Influence project success through cost control, change management, and procurement support
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and construction team members
- Play a key role in commissioning, qualification, and handover of complex MEP, process, and utility systems
- Ensure high-quality project close-out, including as-builts, O&M manuals, and full construction documentation
Who You Are
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years' experience in construction management within pharma, biotech, or advanced manufacturing in Ireland.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in managing multiple concurrent projects in live operational environments.
- Knowledge of Irish safety legislation, PSDP/PSCS roles, permit-to-work systems, and GEP.
Desirable
- Chartered Engineer (CEng), PMP®, or equivalent certification.
- PSCS training.
- Experience delivering large-scale, regulated construction projects.
