Senior Production Planner - Global Biopharma Manufacturer
12-Month Contract | Site-Based | Competitive Daily Rate

Our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Senior Production Planner to join their site-based team on a 12-month contract. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient production planning and materials coordination to support commercial manufacturing and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the site's production planner, responsible for material and production-related planning activities, including commercial supply, special projects, new products, and product changes.

  • Ensure the production schedule is accurately maintained in SAP.

  • Schedule and release process orders in SAP in line with production requirements.

  • Coordinate closely with Manufacturing and Weigh & Dispense areas to ensure materials are available for on-time production.

  • Conduct strategic planning and inventory analysis to support operational goals.

  • Support the New Material Introduction process as required.

  • Act as the Supply Chain Planning representative for manufacturing and project teams, contributing to broader supply chain initiatives.

  • Partner with planner/buyers to ensure material requirements are aligned with the agreed production plan.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years' experience in production planning, ideally within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP is essential.

  • Experience with Kinaxis is a distinct advantage.

  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
