Solar PV Site Manager

Ready to move into your next role as a Solar PV Site Manager (Electrician)? If you are an experienced Manager or a strong Solar Electrician who wants to take the next step working at an environmental consultancy organisation with sites across Ireland, then keep reading!

This is a full-time permanent job based in Ireland - various locations.

What will you do in this job?

• Be a subject matter expert on solar and battery storage installation, reviewing and signing off solar designs and answering challenging technical queries from the sales team.
• Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and handover documentation for all works where required.
• Supervise solar installers, technicians, and subcontractors for solar installation projects to ensure compliance with safety standards (Remote working and site visits when required).
• Provide technical assistance to installers, technicians, or other solar professionals.
• Ensuring Installations are carried out to the highest standard and in line with internal/external regulations and standards.
• Ensure that installations are completed in line with regulations as well as their own stringent internal quality standards.

• Experience in a Project Management role
• Proven knowledge and experience working on commercial/domestic solar PV systems (essential)
• Knowledge of, and experience in Solar PV installation and Battery Storage
• Minimum of 3 years electrical experience
• National Craft Certificate (Electrical) or an equivalent qualification at level 6 or higher on the framework of qualifications
