What will you do in this job?
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, demand forecasting accuracy, and supplier performance.
- Demand Forecasting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts for various product lines.
- Monitor demand patterns and adjust forecasts as necessary to optimize inventory levels.
- Inventory Management:
- Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Implement strategies for reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Supplier Performance Analysis:
- Evaluate supplier performance metrics and work with procurement teams to enhance supplier relationships and performance.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans for supply chain disruptions.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process enhancements and track their impact.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with teams across the organization, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Technology Utilization:
- Utilize supply chain management software and analytics tools to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analysis, IT or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Business Analyst in a related industry.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, SAP and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
