Position Title: Supply Chain Graduate

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare

An exciting Supply Chain Graduate role has come across my desk for a well-known Food company based in Naas, Kildare. This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression and gives you broad exposure with all aspects within Supply Chain!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and operations, to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of inventory management strategies to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Support the procurement team in supplier relationship management, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, reduce lead times, and minimise freight costs.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and resilience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and drive process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Prior internship or work experience in supply chain management is preferred but not required.
