Supply Chain Project Manager- Biopharmaceutical
Our client is a leading biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Dublin, They are dedicated to improving the lives of patients through innovative research, development, and manufacturing of high-quality pharmaceutical products. With a strong commitment to sustainability and a focus on patient-centric solutions, they are at the forefront of the biopharmaceutical industry.
This role is hybrid and will require 2-3 days a week on site in South Dublin.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Project Manager with a specialised focus on warehousing to join the existing team in Dublin. As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will play a critical role in optimising the warehousing operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and contributing to the success of our supply chain initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge biopharmaceutical environment and drive continuous improvement within their supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Optimisation: Lead and oversee all aspects of warehousing operations, including layout design, inventory management, material handling, and storage solutions.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor supply chain projects related to warehousing, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to align warehousing activities with overall supply chain goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the warehousing operations, implementing best practices and lean methodologies.
- Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control strategies, monitor stock levels, and ensure accuracy in product tracking.
- Supplier Management: Work with suppliers to optimize inbound logistics and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to assess and report on key performance indicators, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for warehousing projects and operations effectively.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of warehousing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management with exposure to Warehousing environments
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in SAP and RapidResponse tools are highly desirable
