What is a fun fact about you?
I was on holiday in Los Angeles with friends and one evening we tried to enter a nightclub but we all got stopped at the door as it was VIP only to gain entry. However, guess who rocks up to the door? Only Mike Tyson and his entourage saying to the security “these guys are with me” and in we went! Unfortunately, Mike ditched us the minute we got in… but what a night!!
Why did you want to be a recruitment consultant?
It has always been something I wanted to do and experience. I knew it was going to be a very fast paced environment to work in and believed that this environment would suit me.
What is your advice for someone starting their career in recruitment?
It is not easy working in the recruitment industry. A lot of hard work is needed to succeed in recruitment. You have to have a good mentality to work in recruitment. Once you have these two attributes you can go a long way.
What is your favourite part of your role?
There are many aspects of recruitment that I enjoy. I think for me the most satisfying aspect is when you take a candidate on the job search journey and help them get their ideal position that they want to work in. Quite satisfying!

I really enjoy working with Next Generation. I think the most important thing is that there is always someone to help you to overcome any obstacle or query you may have on a day to day basis. From higher management to fellow colleagues, employees will always give a helping hand if they can.
What would you tell a potential applicant about Next Generation?
Next Generation is a great company to work for. Previous to me starting with Next Generation, I didn’t have any recruitment experience. This company has given me everything I need to learn about the industry and work in this industry
