Our objective: Next Generation is all about helping people take the next step in their career. Our blog shares tips, tactics and strategies about CVs, interviews, studying, productivity, health, wellbeing, and much more. We want to help our audience be happier, healthier and more productive in their every day lives.

Our audience: Our community is made up of digital marketers, data scientists, engineers, project managers and much more (sectors we recruit for) who work for startups and large-scale corporates. They are searching for helpful advice on all stages of finding a new job, from writing a CV, creating a cover letter, the job interview preparation, and what courses and content they should consume for taking the next step in their career.

Topic approval: If you’d like to write for the Next Generation blog, send our editor (email address is at the bottom of this page) your topic idea. Please include a synopsis of what the blog post will be about.

Examples of some of our best performing blog post include:

  1. 5 Things Employers Can Do To Improve Gender Equality In The Workplace
  2. 5 Simple Ways To Ensure You Pass Your Probationary Period
  3. 5 Signs Your Employees Are Suffering From Depression

*We no longer accept posts aimed at job seekers. If you wish to contribute to the Next Generation blog, your post will need to demonstrate expert knowledge of the industries we operate in. For example, rather than write a blog post titled "5 Tips For Writing The Perfect Digital Marketing CV", we would prefer a blog post that focused on changes within the industry that marketers should be aware of e.g. "5 Unbeatable Digital Marketing Strategies To Implement Today".

Your article should contain actionable tips, tactics, strategies and advice related to the industry you're writing about.

Our link policy: We are happy to link back to our writers’ own websites and/or LinkedIn profiles. We also appreciate internal links to some of our content.

Style and formatting advice: Once you receive topic approval, please follow the tips below when you write your blog:

1) Be clear in what you want to say (short sentences work wonders)

2) Break up text with headings

3) Include bullet points

4) Average posts are 1,000 – 1,5000 words

Our re-posting policy: We ask our writers to submit unique and original content for the Next Generation blog. Once we have published your post, you’re welcome to share and post the Next Generation link on your social media profiles or personal website. In fact, we encourage it!
