An established global pharmaceutical manufacturing are undergoing considerable expansion in  their local and global manufacturing operations through increased product development and expansion in their contract manufacturing operations both locally and globally . Within the locally based manufacturing in Ireland , out has grown by 200% due increased customer demand . As a result they need to improve production and capacity planning processes at site level and need to hire a senior supply chain specialist to assist with the expansion :
  • This role will report into a Senior Planning Manager and will be primarily focused on raw material planning for production lines across both packaging and drug product.
  • This role will also require the individual to work effectively with suppliers of raw materials and packaging to ensure there is no disruption of supply of materials as the organization significantly ramps up production capacity.
  • A large part of this role will be to develop and implement best practice across all production planning processes within the manufacturing site.
  • Another requirement of this role will be to ensure best practice is maintained across all material and planning processes in SAP as they migrate to SAP 4Hana.
 
Experience Required
Ideally degree qualified with 5-7 years production and material planning within a GMP manufacturing environment ideally in the life science sector
Strong SAP would be a distinct advantage.
