A leading global FMCG has recently established a global corporate office in Ireland and is looking to hire a number of senior procurement professionals for their expanding global procurement teams across both direct and indirect materials. This organization has in excess of thirty manufacturing sites at a global level and is currently undergoing significant growth through both M&A and product development. They are currently looking to recruit a senior global procurement manager to join their team .
  • This role will report into Global Procurement Director and will be primarily focused on establishing strategic procurement processes across raw materials and packaging for the companies global manufacturing networks.
  • As this organization has grown significantly through acquisition there be a strong focus of supplier rationalization at a regional and global level across direct materials.
  • Another focus of the role will be to work with global product development in relation to sourcing direct materials for and new product launches.
  • This role will also require the individual to work with key stakeholders across the global manufacturing network to ensure agreements are in place with all suppliers of direct material to ensure that all cost and business objectives are met.
Experience Required:
  • Ideally degree qualified with 8-10 years global or regional procurement experience ideally within  FMCG or Life Science sectors.
  • A proven track record of establishing strategic procurement practices across direct materials or packaging
