QC OFFICER
 
 
Are you a Food Science graduate with a work placement or up to 1 year of experience in a QC/QA role in the food manufacturing industry looking to join a leading company in the industry in Ireland?
 
Their QC team is growing and they need someone like you to join them and help them to ensure that all products dispatched meet the required standards under food safety legislation and customer specification.
 
This is a permanent (full-time) job based in Co. Meath.
 
 
What will you do in this job?
 
  • You will ensure that the site complies to BRC & all customer standards and that these standards are actively implemented throughout the site.
 
  • You will advise and promote best practice standards throughout the operation and to ensure customer satisfaction through system and specification verification.
 
  • You will be responsible for achieving procedural compliance consistent with regulatory, legal and customer standards (Internal Audits).
 
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement projects.
 
  • You will be responsible for the management of company's traceability program for key customer accounts.
 
  • You will carry out temperature checks and pre shipment reviews for multiple markets.
 
  • You will be filing coldstore checksheets and will carry out daily QC walks in the coldstore area.
 
 
What do you need to be successful in this job?
 
  • You are degree qualified in Food Science or related discipline.
 
  • You have previous experience in a QC/QA role in the food manufacturing industry.
 
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
