Are you an NPD Manager looking for your next position?

Next Generation are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic NPD Manager for a large scale FMCG manufacturing facility based in Kildare. We are seeking someone who will be responsible for managing a team of Development Technologists and NPD chefs and leading NPD projects from concept to launch based on customer requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their career in a growing food manufacturing company.

This is a permanent position and although largely site based,given the nature of the role, there will be some working from home flexibility. Please note your visa must allow you to work in Ireland unrestricted to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of customer accounts from an NPD perspective and be key point of contact for customer Product Development queries
• Manage Research and Development team to ensure they are trained, reviewed and development plan is in place.
• Lead NPD projects from concept to launch to include recipe development, factory trials, scale up and customer presentations. 
• Develop close relationships with customer and commercial teams
• Develop innovation plans to meet market needs in all customers, channels and markets
• Support customers on technical issues within the remit of Research and Development
• Liase with sites and functions to support development and implementation of new products

• 2-3 years' experience managing and NPD team within a fast paced FMCG manufacturing environment
• Experienced managing high level relationships with retail customers
• Ability to work towards tight deadlines
• Proven ability to be able to liaise across a wide range of internal functions
• Highly motivated individual
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
