Procurement Administrator- 6 Month Contract

Their procurement team is growing and they need someone like you to join them and help with administrative duties including, but not limited to supporting their buyers and ensuring that the team have all the necessary materials required in the correct location and at the correct time. 

This is a fixed-term contract of 6 months (full-time) based in Dublin, with an immediate start. 

What will you do in this job?

• You will assist the purchasing team, sorting aged invoices and keeping a log of issues encountered.
• You will be liaising with Material Controllers to address any Invoice queries. 
• You will be liaising with accounts payable and be the main contact to address any queries. 
• You will be the VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) key person and will be responsible for processing invoices, recognising problem invoices and querying invoices with suppliers. 
• You will be responsible for reporting confirmed delivery date status on a daily basis and report on confirmed PO status on a weekly basis.  
• You will be responsible for updating order acknowledgements and order confirmations from Suppliers and assigning documentation to POs in the ERP System (SAP). 
• You will be responsible for updating PO delivery dates and notifying the engineering department of any delays. 


What do you need to be successful in this job?

• You have 1+ years’ experience in a similar role within the Construction or Engineering Industry. You also may have worked in an administrative position previously.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), have excellent admin and IT skills and having previous experience working with an ERP system such as SAP is an advantage. 
• You have mastered the art of communication and you have an ability to develop strong relationships with Suppliers. 
• If you happen to have knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts, that would be amazing, but that's not a deal breaker if you don't.
