A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Analytical Technical Lead within a leading Global Biopharmaceutical Organisation. This is a 12 month fixed term contract role based in Dublin. Within the role you will have the chance to develop and manage projects related to analytical trending software.

In this role you will be responsible for performing analytics and trending / trend analysis on experiment/laboratory data, working with an in-house statistics package, SAS JMP statistics package, SharePoint and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems). There are also have some other in-house tools for working with the data. There will be a move to Spotfire in the future.

Overview of some of the work you will be doing: 
Data is exported into the relevant statistical package and this role will involve quite a bit of data visualisation on control charts using SAS JMP. The stats package then exports from LES or LIMS depending on the type of trending required. e.g method paramaters (LES), final batch result (LIMS), etc. Scripting experience using JMP stats package is highly preferential. Where the data is not in electronic format, it is compiled from paper directly into excel and JMP stats package is used to visualize the data in control charts and run charts. 

What you will need:

• Minimum BSc. Honours Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, etc. A Scientific degree/background would be beneficial, but not essential
• 6+ years’ experience in a previous Statistical/Analytical position
• A thorough understanding of cGMP requirements for laboratory compliance would be beneficial
• A passion for data!
